What are Grains

Grains are annual plants whose fruits grain used for human consumption and as raw materials in the food industry. Grains contain carbohydrates, proteins, cellulose, minerals and vitamins. Grains are nutritious, beneficial to health, and they provide the necessary energy. Nutritionists recommend Grains for everyday use.
Grains reduces deposition of fat in the blood vessels, as well as the risk of cancer. They have a beneficial effect against asthma and allergies. Grains stimulate the immune system, and destroying the free radicals. The high content of vitamin E in cereals protects the cell membranes of the brain cells.


List of Grains

Grains foods from the grains can be divided into two main Groups: 1. Whole Grains and 2. Refined Grains.

1.Whole Grains are: Amaranth, Barley, Flaxseed, Brown Rice, Brown Rice Bread, Brown Rice Tortilla, Buckwheat, Bulgur (Cracked Wheat), Farro / Emmer, Grano, Millet, Oats, Oat Bread, Oat Cereal, Oatmeal, Popcorn, Whole Wheat Cereal Flakes, Muesli, Rolled Oats, Quinoa, Rye, Spelt, Teff, Triticale and the other foods from the whole grains.

2.Refined Grains are: Cornbread, Spaghetti, Macaroni, Corn Tortillas, Crackers, Flour Tortillas, Noodles, White Bread, White Rice, Ready-To-Eat Breakfast Cereals and the other foods from rafined grains.

The Healthiest Grains

Whole grains are rich in complex carbohydrates, and their regular consumption provides the necessary energy for the body, improves digestion and removing toxins. If you regularly consume whole grains, you can reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer, stroke, obesity, diabetes and similar diseases.

WHEAT contains carbohydrates, proteins, fats, minerals, vitamins B, E, D, K and vitamin A, as well as mighty antioxidants, which have great importance in the prevention of colon cancer. Wheat grains help to strengthen the immune system, stimulate the growth and development of the body, relieves exhaustion and bad mood, regulate digestion, treat rashes, eczema and skin inflammation.

RYE is rich in carbohydrates, and contains proteins, fats, minerals, vitamins, especially the group B. Rye is good for anemia, diabetes, migraine, constipation, climacteric symptoms, as well as to strengthen the nervous system.

OAT contains a lot of minerals and vitamins of group B, K, H, E and vitamin A as well as amino acids. Oat purifies the blood, Oat helps in the treatment of diabetes mellitus, leukemia, gangrene, kidney disease, urinary tract , gall bladder, spleen, ovaries, uterus.


Whole Grain Foods

Cereals are basic food for human diet and domestic animals nutrition. Whole Grains (Cereals) are a very important source of carbohydrates in the human diet. Whole Grains the main source of starch. It is not difficult to include integral foods in the daily diet.
